Congratulations to the Washington County Career Center Prom Royalty for the 2021-2022 school year. On Friday, April 2, the Career Center held its 20th annual prom at the Knight of Columbus Hall in Churchtown.
The prom, with the theme “City of Lights”, was attended by approximately 314 students along with chaperones and staff members. Prom Court King Candidates were: Slade, Bryson, Caleb, Jacob, and Jhalil. Prom Court Queen Candidates were: Emily, Kirsten, Khloe, Holly, and Kiersten.
The 2022 Prom Royalty are:
KING: Jacob is a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Welding program. He is the son of Tim and Susan of Marietta.
QUEEN: Holly is a senior from Frontier enrolled in the Welding program. She is the daughter of Joe and Mary Jo of New Matamoras.
PRINCE: Jhalil is a senior from Belpre enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. He is the son of Kareem of Little Hocking and Jessica of Belpre.
PRINCESS: Khloe is a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Sports Medicine & Exercise Science program. She is the daughter of Brad and Kayla of Coal Run.
With the student council hosting the event, students had an opportunity to attend the Career Center prom as well as their home school prom.
