Eight Washington County Career Center students finished in the top 10 during the Business Professionals of America (BPA) state competitive event in Columbus. Four of those students qualified for nationals. The BPA National Leadership Conference will be held May 4-8 in Dallas, Texas. We wish all four students the best of luck at Nationals!
National Qualifiers:
Meaghan, daughter of Erin of Marietta, is a junior in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She placed third in the event of Extemporaneous Speech.
Andrew, son of Chris and Tisha of Marietta, is a senior in the Digital Marketing program. He placed second in the event of Database Applications.
Kenzie, daughter of Brad and LeeAndra of Marietta, is a junior in the Digital Marketing program. She placed third in the event of Advanced Interview Skills.
Jacob, son of Michael of Richmond, Virginia, and Justin and Evon of Hackney, Ohio, is a senior in the Digital Marketing program. He placed third in the event of Database Applications.

Lyanna Smith is a junior from Marietta in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She competed in the event of Graphic Design Promotion.
Kiersten Warden is a senior from Fort Frye in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She competed in the event of Advanced Desktop Publishing.
Kylie Barth is a senior from Marietta in the Digital Marketing program and Shawna Clark is a senior from Frontier in the Digital Marketing program. They competed in the event of Web Design Team.
