The Business Professionals of America (BPA) organization at the Washington County Career Center elected its chapter officers recently. The chapter includes students from the Digital Marketing and Graphic Design & Video Production programs.
Officers for the 2021-22 school year are:
President, Jhalil, is a senior from Belpre enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. He is the son of Kareem of Little Hocking and Jessica of Belpre.
Vice President, Kenneth, is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. He is the son of Kenneth of Marietta.
Treasurer, Samuel, is a junior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. He is the son of Michael and Kelly of Lower Salem.
Secretary, Kiersten, is a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She is the daughter of Robert of Lower Salem.
Historian, Kylie, is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Digital Marketing program. She is the daughter of Craig and Melissa of Lowell.
Parliamentarian, Andrew, is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Digital Marketing program. He is the son of Christopher and Tisha of Marietta.
The Information Technology programs are a combination of high-level academic courses and state-of-the-art technology courses. The programs of instruction provide opportunities for students to prepare for and achieve career objectives in business and computer occupations. Business Professionals of America is a student organization for high school and college students that help prepare for a world-class workforce. Through co-curricular programs and service, members compete in technical competitions, develop leadership skills, network with one another and professionals across the nation, and get involved in community service.
