WCCC Second Chance Grant

The objectives of the Second Chance Grant Pilot Program are to reduce financial barriers preventing Ohioans with some college credit but no degree from returning to higher education and to increase the number of Ohioans with a degree or credential. ​ The Second Chance Grant Pilot Program will provide financial assistance in the form of $2,000 grants to eligible students enrolling at The Career Center - Adult Technical Training in obtaining their training and certification. . Guidelines

  • Must be a current resident of Ohio.

  • Your last date of attendance at a college was between one to five years ago.

  • You were in good academic standing when you left school.

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and accept any need-based state or federal grants to which you are entitled.

How do you apply?

  • Apply for any program at Adult Technical Training with a start date of January 1, 2022, or later.

  • Meet with Financial Aid Representative, Wendy Ketelsen.

  • Complete the Second Chance Grant Application.
