CDL TRUCK DRIVER
Our hands-on truck driver / CDL training program is established by the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
After successful completion of the CDL program, graduates are eligible to sit for the CDL driver's examination. Graduates must obtain this certification to be employed as a Class A (or B) truck driver.
DRIVE WITH PRIDE
The Ohio Department of Public Safety establishes the curriculum for the Truck Driving Training / CDL program. The student begins with learning the essential driving skills, regulations, safety, and basic mechanical systems. They will then move into the truck for realistic exercises on a closed course, and then move to driving on public streets and highways.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
You could be on your way to a new career in as little as four weeks.
Students have the option of choosing a weekday or weekend training schedule.
The CDL Class A program includes HAZMAT training. HAZMAT training is one additional 10-hour day.
Students will take their CDL Drivers Examination test in Parkersburg, WV (those under 21 test in Pike County, Ohio).
