Social Networking and Internet Safety Assembly

Online social networking helps people all over the world connect and develop personal and business relationships. However, there are many pitfalls that we need to be aware of—especially when it comes to the safety of young people.

On Wednesday, April 29, there will be two student assemblies held  concerning Social Networking and Internet Safety. Tony Pisano, Owner and Founder, OurClassSpace - New Vista Concepts, LLC and E-Learning Consultant from Toledo will be here to share information on these very important topics.

University of Northwestern Ohio, College of Technologies, is having an Open House and Race Night April 24 – 25, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Race night is Friday night. If you go to the open house you will get in to race night free.

Summer Employment

Students, if you are interested in working a full time summer job, please contact Mr. Porter as soon as possible. He has 2 to 3 immediate openings at Greenleaf Landscaping, 2 to 3 with Job and Family First doing document imaging, and another in a local professional office. As a student, you may select your worksite and your employer will be compensated for your wages for at least 60 days. Mr. Porter will be visiting classrooms this week to further explore these opportunities.

Baby and Senior Pictures

The Computer Graphics class is currently working on the senior video, which will be shown at the end of graduation. Seniors: please bring two or three pictures ranging from babyhood to senior year and give them to Mr. McLain (Computer Graphics teacher), as soon as possible, so that they can be included in the video. WCCC Summer Employment

Mr. Porter and Mr. Blatt will be visiting classrooms in the next week. Students who are PRC qualified will be eligible for full time summer employment beginning June 8th. Students will be given the opportunity to apply for these jobs when they visit the classrooms.
